Our Practice

Plastic Surgery, whether sought out purely for cosmetic reasons, after a traumatic injury or to correct a physical feature, can have profound impact on a patient's appearance and quality of life. It helps the body and the spirit and is designed to improve both form and function.

For almost three decades, Dr. Danny Fong has successfully treated thousands of patients in his practice. Their backgrounds are as varied as their reasons to seek out Dr. Fong's expertise. They have ranged in age from as young as a few days to their 90’s and have come to see Dr. Fong from all over the United States and from as far as Hong Kong, Japan, Europe, South America and West Africa.

Most of the minimally-invasive procedures Dr. Fong performs involving local anesthesia or IV sedation take place right in our office or at our adjacent surgical suite for the convenience of the patient. Other procedures performed at the hospital on an out-patient basis allow the patient to return home within a few hours. Always, Dr. Fong's aim is to allow his patients to return to work, school and normal activities as quickly as possible.

Born and raised in New York City, Dr. Fong graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Amherst College and received his medical degree from the University of Rochester Medical School. He completed his general surgery training at New York Medical College and continued on for training in hand surgery. He was then admitted as a fellow to the prestigious Combined Connecticut Hand Program at the University of Connecticut, University of Massachusetts and Yale University. Dr. Fong completed his plastic surgery training at Albany Medical College. He has presented at national meetings and has received awards for his hand surgery research and plastic surgery teaching.
